NAME REGRET. . . It's the thing thousands of people are currently struggling with and nobody talks about. Until now.
The PROCESS Of NAMING should lead you into clarity, not confusion. It becomes a bucket that either NOURISHES THE FAMILY VISION or drowns you in a TOXIC THOUGHT CYCLE. If you think this process won't affect your MENTAL HEALTH and that you're alone in this feeling of going crazy, it's time to think again.
What is a taboo? It’s something “proscribed by society as improper or unacceptable.” In the not so distant past, normal things like miscarriage, depression, addiction, sex before marriage, were taboo. Everyone was riding around on the same societally constructed shame bus and all sitting with the same things and never feeling like they could talk about it. I now find myself sitting across from so many people who are quietly beating themselves up over name regret.
Yes, it's real.
Name Regret/Remorse... How do you find your way out of it, and is it normal? Between 10% and 20% of parents regret their baby's name. It begs the question: What actually matters the most when naming a baby?
